They'll have 15 points next year. Chances of getting any extra would be nought. Last year they had no 'extra points', but a points exemption for Zanandrea that will revert to 2 points this year.

Based on the formula used in previous years, this should be the points allocation for 2014, based on the win percentage from the past four seasons.

BALAKLAVA 67.1875% and 9 points
HAMLEY 30.46875% and 14 points
HUMMOCKS 32.8125% and 14 points
MALLALA 75% and 8 points
TWO WELLS 50% and 10 points
UNITED 27.34375% and 15 points
VIRGINIA 67.1875% and 9 points

I'd have to dig back through the thread to see what points were for this season but Hamley has dropped to 14 by 0.4 per cent, United has the full complement of 15.
Two Wells scraped up into the 10 point bracket with a 50 per cent win/loss ratio. One loss in the past four seasons would have allowed them an extra point.

Again, these are just my figures. Not sure what the league has.

100% - 90% = 6 89.99% - 80% = 7 79.99%-70% = 8 69.99%- 60% = 9 59.99% - 50% = 10 49.99% - 45% = 11 44.99% - 40% = 12 39.99% - 35% = 13 34.99% - 30% = 14 29.99% - 0% = 15

Yes I was Onsong.

Also correct on most clubs above but I think Hamley were 29% so 15 points.

I counted 0.5 for their draw. Perhaps that was not taken into consideration.

Its % of wins. So you can take that 0.5 from us too!

Na, but then you could draw all your matches and finish with 16 points and a win % of 0.

It has to be taken into account as half a win. You get a point for it on the ladder, it should count towards your win %

You can't count something that didn't happen.
Its % of games WON! 8)

Yeah, I get that. But like I said, if you have a lot of draws one year, it will throw out your win percentage but not affect your position on the ladder.
Counting the draw makes the most sense.
But the most logical option doesn't always get up. I get that. In your case, it doesn't affect anything really.

What you have said also makes sense.
Basically the spreadsheet that the league has provided only counts wins in whole numbers, so the draw doesn't count.

Would love to see a season where a team has 16 draws. Be ******* frustrating!

Grand Final replay in the event of a draw to be scrapped also in favour of the 5 minute (plus time on) halves. This is the case in every other grade. This way ensures everyone can be in Bali at the same time. :D

Don't play for the club if thay's what you're hinting at, but do know Clusey from Eudunda days, and other players and committee.
Not a rumour as far my sources say.
And a good playing coach does ask a lot. Greenwood wanted over 30 grand to coach at freeling and Kapunda a couple of years ago. A year! Don't try and tell me that's why Freeling can't get good imports now! They don't have the money.
Perhaps that's why he wasn't appointed at Hamley Bridge.

So you and your brother have left the club as well then?

If you think I played for Eagles you'll be mightily diappointed Days. Haven't played for a long time and I think you'll find I post on a number of other league sites.
Not just yours.
As I said I know Clusey and a Eudunda player - tough to work out even for you.'I've heard rumours. Believe me or not, no concern of mine.
I doubt the guy you're thinking I am can write in a sentence - apologies Nocyrils - let alone post a comment.
