This is definitely a band to look out for, and what's more they're aged from 11-15!

These kids have some serious chops.

Last night I listened to:

Neil Young - Live at the Cellar Door, new live release. Really, really enjoyed.

Also listened to Beck, Odelay.

The Godfather of Grunge.
I've nearly entirely got into Young before, although I've had Harvest for a few years now.
But this album blew me away with its vulnerability and the loss behind his vocals. Really good.

Great calls, Gozu.

I ought to check out The Stone. I think I'll enjoy it, if your impeccable taste in music is anything to go by.

Gee thanks mate. I got The Stone-Issue One when it first came out years ago listened to it once and that was it but only recently copied it to my hard drive and had another listen it's actually not bad at all.

I'm sure you would've heard Sepultura's Tribus EP, Patton does vocals on The Waste which I think is still a really good song but had forgotten what the other songs were like but listening to it again the last song Prenuncio with Coffin Joe on vocals is awesome.

I love how Patton basically just added vocals to 'Kamaitachi', and it became 'The Waste'.

I agree with you that 'Prenúncio' is ******* killer. However the alternate mix of 'Common Bonds' is my non-Patton favourite song from the EP.

Against was a killer album, and I remember being really hopeful at the time that Derrick Green was ushering in an awesome new era for Sepultura. However, it's been hit-and-miss since then.
