Postby whufc » Mon Mar 16, 2009 9:15 am

What do you want to see. For me personally i wanna see what the starting line-up will look in Round 1 and the Dogs put in a real solid performance.

I just wanna see a good hit out and I guess an improvement from the week before...

With a few little niggles here and there and players rested there is still some quality sitting on the sidelines ready to come into the league side for Central. The likes of Hadden, O'Sullivan, Cochrane, Goodrem, Dutschke, C.Gowans, J.Gowans, Schell, Moss, L.Westhoff, R.Henderson, Havelberg and Hayes so there is a bit of quality to come back into their line up.

Sounds like Sturt were impressive against Norwood so it should be a good hit out...

Hopefully both teams have as good a squad as they can manage to put on the park so we can see where our sides are really at.
Good oppurtunity for me to have a drink with the father in-law and brother in-law, both doggies fans

Any one willing to have a crack at the teams for this week?

Big Phil, currently working at McMurdo Station. Was wondering if you'd be able to provide any information about recruits or young players coming through for Centrals?? Pretty isolated from any news here!

The Crows may ask for permission for Griffen to line up for the Doggies too.

Too hard to pick any teams based purely on not knowing for sure who is still unavailable to injury etc...

In regards to some info on the Doggies recruits, check out the Private Message (PM) I sent you mate...

Cheers,

Hopefully boths sides have a really good hard, take no prisoners hit out in 36 deg heat, whilst Sturt's next opponents have a solid hit out in the morning, by the coast, before it gets too hot that leaves them nicely tuned up to play a fatigued Sturt next week.... ;) :D
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I think you also mean Giles there Big Phil. Both ruckmen are suiting up for the dogs.

I want to see the end of the game so the real stuff can start. SANFL trials are even less interesting than AFL trials IMHO. But I guess it would be nice to see a young lad looking like he's up to playing in the big league. Havelberg came from the clouds a couple of seasons ago and has established himself as one of the best and most versatile big men around IMHO.

Couldn't agree more Graham (I'm just glad there is local footy to go to, even if just trials) and hopefully a young lad like Ashley Duncan, who has been playing in the league trials so far, will get an opportunity to make his debut, especially considering we will have a couple missing come round 1.
