Adelaide Footy League Talk

C7s

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if anyone on here is involved with the C7 competition, but at the State Game last week, the treatment of the boys by their own league was terrible. Not opening the changerooms so the boys had to get changed in the grandstand, not doing the after-match trophy presentation until after the Under 18s game (two hours after the C7 game had finished so some parents & relatives couldn't hang around), and not even thanking Victoria for coming over, and last Wednesday night while the Under 18s and 23s had a dinner inside the function room at Thebarton, the C7 boys were not invited in for anything like this after training.

Dave Green is trying but with he no longer being on the SAAFL board, the help from the league has been at a minimum. These guys love their footy just as much as anyone and to see them being treated as second class citizens was very disappointing.

SAAFL, get behind the only open-age state team you have left. These guys work hard and are very proud to wear the jumper they do, the respect needs to go both ways.
