Its at 2:30 so depending how long it goes for I might sneak to Alberton for the second half to see my first Magpies game since 2008.

DOC - I moved 300kms from Adelaide halfway through 2008 and my job involves me working most weekends plus Uni assignments/exams all through footy season. Only managed 3 or 4 AFL games and 0 SANFL games last year after going to about 10-11 AFL and 17-18 SANFL games every year before that. Literally every weekend where I didnt have to work, didnt have exams and could make it down to Adelaide it was a bloody bye.

Its a Crows home showdown. Your ticket purchase supports the Crows. Why not save that money and spend it at Alberton on Sat?
I've lost count on how many Crows games I've missed due to clashes with matches at Norwood.
Correct me if I'm wrong but its probably the first time a Magpie game clashes with a Power game at Footy Park, and its not even a Power home game. Stop whinging as it is people like you who are shafting the Magpies, not the SANFL.

Really, so my Footy park Membership supports the Crows. WOW, after all these years, I'd better stop buying one.
And I've said it before, the SANFL wants Port to pay its' way out of the malaise, so it could help just a little by not programming a home game, live on television, up against a Showdown.

I'm not a footy park member but my understanding is that you are a member of the SANFL only. You then pay a fee above your SANFL membership to be an actual member of the Crows or Power.Wedgie wrote:I thought if you were a Category 1 Member you were in fact a Power and a Crows member?
That was the case in the 90s when I was a member, have things changed?

Well its not a secret that the Magpies are in deep poo. The power will be around for years to come. (FWIW, I dont think the Magpies will fold either)Booney wrote:HeartBeatsTrue wrote:beenreal wrote:I go to all the Magpie games but there are only 2 Showdowns so I'll be at footy Park. Thanks SANFL!

Who are you to be critical of the decision he chooses to make and what game he goes to see? I take umbridge to the fact you think you have the right to tell him where he should go and the reasons why.
