I've been following Felon (Beadesert R9) for a while - raced on Sunday at the Sunny Coast & backing up today, can handle the wet & Spike Colless aboard. Worth an each way ticket IMO.

After getting the chockies last start, he's back in a metro race today.
Gold Coast R8 # 4 - currently $31 & $8 on Sportsbet.
Colless stays on which is encouraging - gotta be worth an each way ticket.

Carrying a bit of weight but should beat this lot.

Dunno what happened there. It seemed to lose ground/stop racing early on and Gatt had to pull the whip to get it going. Didn't have a turn of foot - 59kgs, softer ground, who knows?!?!

Our Prospect did the exact same thing last start, came from nowhere to get up late at 20/1

a few of those horses up front were goneski on the home turn, not much of a future for them.....

5th one off the fence, sitting perfectly before Gatt needing the whip to wake him up

The Strath track, they run uphill before they turn for home. You weren't well weighted against these horses.
Jolly said on radio this morning that he thinks it's a Saturday horse, but was concerned with the weight.

Yep, I'm not overly concerned. Often horses who win maidens don't win the 0-62 following. I thought 4.50 - 6 bucks would've been about the right price for her.

She's our best horse we've had, so we're not likely to throw her after one (not) bad run!

Yep, second start and lumped with 59kgs against more seasoned horses. Not too bad in hindsight.

B Melham rode it at its only start and rode the horse upside down and was told in the mounting yard following the race he will neve ride the horse again and never ride for those owners again.

Today they have their jockey of choice - Matty Allen.

worth a small ew ticket

the wide barrier wont be of too much concern as it will drop towards the tail of the field and hopefully get a chance to run on late
