Was talking to the Sunday Mail writer Jai Bednall during the Central v North trial at Elizabeth last weekend and he told me to expect this to come out, pardon the pun

He said the office all got a good laugh when the photographer showed them the pic !!!

Chad O'Sullivan recently seperated from radio personality Mel Greig and pretty sure he recently got a new girlfriend, maybe he is giving the other side a go now :D

Good one boys

Interesting article from Kym Morgan at The Advertiser...

I think it is very well written by Kym and would be great if it came into fruition...

I read that today also. Great article and good to see someone else thinking outside the square

Great article, would be awesome if this did happen, although i'd imagine port would try and get some more special conditions with any new deal, can't be trusted with anything.

Pretty easy, increase the fee to play in the sanfl. Increase the salary cap, the sanfl doesn't have to answer to the AFL anymore.

A very good article. No question that some of the Adelaide oval windfall should be invested back in to the SANFL. If this happens, with the flow on mentioned in the article, the SANFL has an extremely bright future. I also think the idea mentioned in the comments of some SANFL games through the minor round being played at Adelaide Oval is worth considering, much like happened with Football Park in the 80s.

Is it just the players contract that gets included in the salary cap, is the match fee separate & what is the SANFL match fee for a league game.

In most cases the match fee is the contract and must be included in the cap.

I think that is what brought West Adelaide undone in their latest cap breach. Gambled on some high match fee players getting injured and missing games but they stayed on the park.

Are you being serious?

Why on earth would a club pay high match fees and the hope the player got injured so they didn't have to pay it!!!!!
Sorry but I don't believe that.
