No not at all. All of the PS4 where pre orders, so if you had done the pre order you where going to get one on the release date. Instead of lining up you could of went and got it the next day without lining up. iPad and iPhones don't have a pre order so it's first in gets it, but in saying that I think you would have a better chance of doing it over the phone and having it shopped to you.

Mate picked his up the day after the release from JB. Jb where advertising saying they only had so many left for pre orders before Xmas after that you had to wait until January. Harvey Norman where giving people that had pre ordered a week to collect or they would have to wait until January

Mum got ours from EBs. They gave you 48 hours. And they opened at midnight on Thursday, so you had Friday and Saturday to pick it up or next person in gets it.
