Just as disgraceful (well maybe not "just as" but you know what I mean) was his simulation after the incident.

Hugely talented player who every supporter lauds as being selfless, when in actual fact he's the opposite whenever he decides to cheat - Does none of his teams' any favours sitting on the sidelines for his stupidity!!

I would of loved to seen Chellini elbow him straight back in the mouth and knocked those fangs straight out. Hope he gets the book thrown at him

If that had happened I think it would still have been less than he deserved .. Chellini did VERY well to stay as passive as he did

I love the fact that a Uruguayan player was trying to lift up the shirt of Chellini to cover up the bite marks that he was showing the world!

I reckon Suarez is ready to sink his teeth into the columbia defense. and if he gets any space he will chew them up and spit them out.

just saw a headline at bottom of screen on abc 24 that Uruguay are claiming there is insufficient evidence to charge.

I thought the bite marks said it all!!

Suarez banned from all football for 4 months aswell as 9 international games. In that time he is not allowed to attend any game. Still not harsh enough IMO

So the Round of 16 is finalised:
6 x European Teams: Germany, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, France & Greece - fair to say the 1st 5 were pretty much expected,
Greece the surprise.
5 x South American Teams: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Uruguay - all 5 given real chances,
perhaps Chile were questionable due to Group.
3 x Central American Teams: Costa Rica, Mexico, USA, - All 3 were surprises from their respective Groups
with Costa Rica the 'story' of the WC so far
2 x African Teams: Nigeria, Algeria - Algeria a very big surprise from their Group

Of the matches to be played, one can suggest that Costa Rica will beat Greece & continue the fairytale.
While Columbia should now beat Uruguay (minus Jaws).
Germany to beat Algeria looks certain, but the other 5 games look very interesting.
I expect the Argies to beat the Swiss but no certainty.
Holland v Mexico looks like a 'cracking match', as does Brazil v Chile.
France may well find Nigeria very difficult - give them a real chance (hoping not due to $21 I got on the Frogs before the Tournament)
Belgium v USA looks 'mouth watering' - toss of the coin there I reckon. Belgians will be favourite but Yanks a real chance.

My predictions from here for the Semis:
Brazil v Germany & Argentina v Holland but...
Would love to see Columbia & Costa Rica make it that far.
Rodregez has been the 'find' of the Tournament IMHO - he's @ Monaco at the minute, isn't he? Likely to be in Spain soon, me thinks.
