My missus has worked in two of the stores for 8 years now.
Don't worry the good meat packs rarely make it to the view of the general public.
We give her a bit of stick about working there sometimes which is a bit nasty.
Totally agree they sell some dead set rubbish but there are some good buys as well.
I love my gherkins and other preserved stuff like Sundried tomatoes so it's comes down to what you actually buy I think.

yea the lebenese lady. would u believe she over 40? :shock: im sure she flirts with everyone just to keep em coming back. mind u im a pretty impatient guy, but couldnt care less if it took her 1/2 hour to burn my burger n chips ;)

She also moonlights as a security guard at Walkley Heights Foodland.

Found a stall at the Pooraka Markets yesterday....$1 cans of Dr Pepper (US made) or 12 for $10. Safe to say I stocked up. Also got some cherry Cokes and grape Fantas.

Pretty much. I had 4 yesterday and I've got one open on my desk right now, and one chilling in the work fridge. Its like crack.

:lol: Dear god slowdown man! I bought 2x12 packs of Dr Pepper a good 4 months ago and haven't even opened the second 12 pack yet.
