Even though I don't think he's ever picked the Crows once in his tips I actually think Tredrea is alright. I agree with a lot of his opinions in his weekly SA wrap on Footy Classified.

Caro is alright and I think she cops a lot of shit being a woman that she wouldn't if she were a man. She's good at her job as an investigative footy journo/reporter.

Rucci though is a complete joke. His snide, smart-arse articles written from his ivory tower convey a quite unhealthy inferiority complex. No one cares about your running battles with everyone from politicians to former players in a lame attempt to generate conflict and discussion. Stick to vanilla "player x has a limp at training and might miss the big game this weekend" stuff or better yet go back to writing real-estate articles.

Surely The Advertiser can find a better 'Chief Football Writer' somewhere in this state? Just give it to whoever ghosts Tredders articles that'll do.

I think Rucci is good. He gives an honest opinion & generally he is absolutely spot on. If anyone gets offended by him,they are a bit precious IMO. The 2 I can't stand are Brayshaw and Try Hard Stephen Rowe.Both of them think theyare the modern day Rex Hunt but they make me vomit.Bring back Drew Morphett and Clinton Dribus

1. BT - Absolute gibbering idiot that almost makes the greatest game in the world unwatchable. He's been warned and has started to tone it down.
2. Bruce - Such a shame that a once brilliant SANFL commentator is now a metrosexual cringeworthy fapping man-crush nitwit.
3. Dermott - Get over it you punch drunk Irish git. You can't clobber blokes anymore.
4. Dunstall - I wish he would trade 200 of his goals and get a sense of humour. Absolute ar5ehat.
5. David King - overscrutinised everything even before he was paid to do so. A wanker as a player and has gone backwards in the media.
6. Tom Harley - Tries so hard to prove he's not biased to Geelong but he's not fooling oppo fans and pissing off the Cats fans by making the attempt.
7. Lethal- Another Hawthorn thug in the commentary box. Tries to keep up with the trends of the game and comes off sounding like KB.
8. Luke Darcy - Don't hate him as much as some others do but his tiresome catchphrases grind my gears. Stick to calling the netball.
9. Roo - What a boofhead. Listening to him calling a Crows game is like listening to nails down a blackboard. Grade A thickhead.
10. KB - irrelevant old fart trying to turn the game into netball who is starting to invade the media.

Except for Mike Shehan, Hudson, Robbo, Whately, Lingy, Richo and to a lesser extent Commetti, they pretty much all suck. Don't mind Eddie when he's not commentating Pies games but it's a very short list from a bucketful of absolute muck. I don't miss the SA Football 'media' at all since moving up here. Bliss!

You know why Cracker? Cos in the old days they used to CALL THE GAME and not talk about what's trending on Twitter or pumping up blokes that they 'identified as a talent' or identifying a random two minute section of play as being 'really crucial'. ACK.
