Division Medal Count Contenders

Postby SATCHEL » Wed Aug 15, 2012 1:06 pm

Just throwing it out there who you might think would take the medal in each Div. There has been word on who we think the early favourites would be. Be interesting to see what the across the board thoughts are.

For me Div 2: D. Laslett would have to poll well for my mob
a couple of the Districts lads even a couple at Flinders should poll well aslo. Dont know too much about other grades except the ones im associated with.
C2 Districts lads should poll well along with a couple of my lads.

Div 5: Jarrad Clark-Rantasa should win it. Our best chance would be either Shane Hagestrom or Lee Duggan

Simon Barratt would have to go close for the Div 5R medal, has had a great season for us.

Division 4 - Ian Perrie (Pulteney) should poll well. Plays in the ruck most weeks this season and goes all day. Massive work rate and sometimes pulls in a hanger out of a pack.

Div 2

My money would Probably be on Reid Beeching from Dizzies this year as he was very good against us both times and is always in the best players.

Brett Prior and Dale Laslett would have to poll plenty of votes for the Thunder as they have been the standouts by a long way

Nick Schwarze from Flinders is a good player and the type that gets noticed.

Also Brayden Fisher from walkies would be on at least 6 votes as he was the best man on the ground against us both times this year swapping in the middle and FF

Ian Perrie is going to be hard to beat in div 4. Scott Burnett runner up playing half a season.

Green from Unley would poll a few in C2, as would Smitheram from Districts, although neither have played all season.

Few good suggestions Piccachu. I'd say Gates and Sampson (from Districts) would get a few too, but neither have played enough to take it out I wouldn't think.

Agreed. I reckon Rory Duerden and Ryan Summerton would be our top vote getters.

In the B grade I'd say midfielder Shaun Costigan and maybe skipper Hayden Bates would be the top vote getters for us.

both times we played hope valley big haggerstrom was outstanding and always in there best, easily best big man in the div
smokies- duggan just a champion, schofield (lutheran) very good player and matty paul (lodge) last 6 to 8 weeks has been really good as well.bussie from glenulga will poll well early when they were winning. But i think its a 2 horse race between clark and haggerstrom

Glen Mount from TTG would be the standout in Div 7. Sam Fairclough from Henley will poll well but might not have played enough games.
