I reckon REB is onto something. The Roos now are like the cats before their patch of dominance. Have the ability but need their heads right.

Yep- same here.

Turn their 5 or 6 close losses into wins last season and they were finalists comfortably (and probably would have made a fist of it too).

A few handy additions to their side and flexibility with a few talls (Hansen in particular) and they have all the marks of a contender.

Won't have Swallow for the first half of year due to achillies. NDS is a good replacement though. Think will finish in bottom half of top 8 but can't see them pushing top 4.

Ziebell, Wells, Cunnington, Bastinac, Dal Santo, Harvey, Atley, Anthony, Adams, McKenzie to name a few. That group will only get better once Swallow comes back.

If they can learn to hold a lead they will be finalists this year easily.

the only side i could see coming out of the 4 could be freo... or possibly the swans (hope not)... Hawks and Cats aren't going anywhere imho.

Freo & North the two certainties for the top 4.

Debatable re. Geelong. They lose Hawkins and they are in a bit of strife imo.

Awesome backline and one of the best midfield groups in the comp though which will still see them comfortably in the 8.

One lesson learned re. the cats is you can never write them off.
