I recommend that BBC series In The Flesh as an interesting take on the zombie apocalypse

I love house of cards

Worth watching. The writing is the real star of the show, though the character Olivia munn plays is what a nerds wet dream consists of (ie my wet dream)

I would probably go;

Game Of Thrones
True Detective
The Wire
Ray Donovan
Boardwalk Empire
House Of Cards

True Blood I still watch, but it's pretty lame oh and Sons I still enjoy, but I don't think it's as quality as those others I've listed.

I've never even seen an episode of the Sopranos, gotta get around to that someday.

Think I'm the only person not to have watched Game of Thrones...I've come close but...I dunno...so many people like it, it must be good right? But then, lots of people liked Roxette...

Tell me, do you have to be into Tolkein, elves and hobbits and shires and stuff? Cos if so I really can't do it...

Nah you really don't. The biggest barrier is that it is incredibly complex if you haven't read the books (which I haven't) so you spend half of the first season wondering wtf is going on. So if you make it past that you will be hooked

I haven't watched Game Of Thrones either, it hasn't really grabbed my attention with the ads etc

and the West Wing I thought was quite good, but House Of Cards seems to have it covered IMHO for political drama

I was probably the last person on earth to get into breaking bad, and I am hooked big time.

but my fav shows would include, Senfeld, Workaholics, Family Guy, Breaking Bad.

That's just a handful off the top of my head.
