Disagree. Those East Norwegian, Russian and Bulgarian teams with names I can't even pronounce nor had I ever heard of that we beat in Europa are HUGE clubs!

Still behind Arsenal too

Puma has ripped you off, Nike gave us £300m and we are a middle of the table side. A top side should get more ;)

It's Trophy Winning Potential that counts and whilst Manchester United are just a mid-table side at the moment, everyone knows that it is short lived where as Arsenal haven't won anything for years and that's likely to continue, well at least for another two and a half years, and on that basis the Gunners have got a good deal

Id guarantee if Moyes doesnt win a trophy or two in the next year or two he will gone. We wont let him go 10 years without a trophy like Wenger has

Let me think now...

Founder members........ We were one of the original 12 clubs who started the whole thing, so without us you wouldn't have a league, to play in.

Professional players....... First club to have pro's. When the FA said no, Burnley threatened to leave and take half the other clubs with them and start a new league. The FA backed down and allowed professional, paid players, so without us you'd never have the likes of Henry, Van Persie, etc., or any of the others that you pay millions for.

TV Money......... Games were shown free until Burnley chairman Bob Lord said no more freebies. If you want televised football you will have to pay, so if it wasn't for us you wouldn't have your sky millions or that £150m sponsorship deal either.

Now what has your club done of any significance to enhance the English league it plays in. Oh yes, weren't they the first club to field a team for an English league game that no English players in at all? Apart from that, sweet FA I think.

I'm actually pretty proud of what my little small town club has achieved. Won the league title twice, runners up a few times, won the FA cup, won the charity shield, quarterfinals of the European Cup, (how far did Arsenal ever get in the European Cup, not this Mickey mouse comp they have now where you can finish 4th and still qualify and lose in the group stages but still qualify, unlike the real Champions Cup when you had to actually win the league to qualify), league winners in every division and became the smallest town club to play in the premiership.

( note in my original post - When did Burnley last win anything of significance after your dig at Arsenal) ...........

Yeah, know one would have though of a football league since 200 BC john......
You are saying basically its our fault that your chairman said no more freebies to games which allows the BIG clubs to get these sponsor ship deals....riiigghhhtttt .
I have continually said that 4th or 3rd or 2nd does not deserve champions league. Champions league means CHAMPIONS. I think you are barking up the wrong tree with that one ....

Solid if unspectacular win by United. Clean sheet and a win is a start, Cardiff now bottom and hopefully on their way back down.
Thank you Saints
