Adelaide great in the first half, struggled in the second, Victory finished well and Adelaide were lucky to finish with a draw

More than struggled, were an absolute disgrace in the second half.
Couldn't keep hold of the ball and lacked creativity

The ball spent alot more time in Melbourne's forward half in the second half after barely going in there in the first half, Adelaide ran out of legs far too easily

Thats because once again they get in comfort zone & think they've done enough.
They should of been spanked to be honest, Galekovic saved their arse, i wouldn't be happy if i was the coach.

Agree with Brodlach, Mabil looks the goods.

A-League 2013/14 Transfers, Results & Discussion

Postby Jim05 » Sun Oct 27, 2013 1:30 am

No good having 70% possession and passing the ball like Barca if you cant get the ball in the back of the friggin net, created stuff all chances and toothless in attack. Defense is still rubbish

9 wins in a row against our AU bitches :)
Not one shot on goal despite 65% of the possession, wow, you're an exciting side Adelaide United!

And Central Cost get Danny McBreen back next week! 8)

Lost 2-1 after taking the lead.
Of course Juric had to score a brace against us
All the sweet passing and domination of play means nothing if you have the worst defence in the league. How has any United manager has not worked out that Boogard is a total spud beggars belief. We keep buying midfielders and forwards yet do nothing to address our major weakness, poor Eugene must get sick and tired of opposition sides battering our goals

Do you reckon AU will work out that goals win games of soccer not possession soon?
Hopefully not.

Slow learners.
Dominated the Jets and yet still lost.
Boogard straight red once again, why do we persist with this hack?

Will be a huge loss and I can see us having a mediocre season but I hope Mossy does a good job, great bloke loved by the fans and players and has been around long enough to have picked up a lot from Arny.
