Dylan Shiel
Taylor Adams
Josh Bruce

all wanthing to go home to Vic.

They really did need Buddy on-field. Off-field he would have been a bonus, but I fear for their immediate future on-field.

Its fair to say they have really messed up their recruiting strategy, esspecially considering the GC's improvement and bright future.

They spent big on Scully an unproven outside player, and topped up experience with old blokes that no one wanted and could hardly raise a gallop. They are struggling to attract a big name player, and no matter the money will do so as no gun will want to play in a pathetic team will little sign of improvement.

I know some were critical of GC but they had a superstar leading young guns ie Bennel, Dixon, Day etc etc O'Meara in the wings and they have this young aboriginal fella who could be better than the lot.
all of them Match Winners

I dont see that in GWS' list - i see an honest worker in Ward leading a bunch of good/ok young players. Cameron the only match winner on their list IMO.

Totally agree WHUFC, the Giants will be fine next year and win 6-8 games as the Suns have done.

How do you know GWS don't have an omeara waiting in the wings? They have something gold coast don't. A gun key forward, or 3.

Have as many gun forwards as you want, with no ruck, no defence and no in-and-under ball winners they aren't going to get many opportunities.

19 years?
That's a lot of AFL money to spend before we make judgement.

I'm old enough to remember when Brent Guerra was bald.

Absolutely that is. Brogan played on one leg when he fronted in 2013 and Giles again showed he is a part-time AFL ruckman at best.
