They have also recruited a new coach/captain from a Div 1 side.

Lightning McQueen wrote:After results from last season it is going to be interesting to see this seasons gradings.
Here is what they might be:
Grade 1
Rose & Crown (Grade 1 Premiers)
One Tree Hill (Grade 1 Runner Up)
Salisbury West
Central United
Virginia
Craigmore
Riverside (Grade 2 Premiers)
Eastern Park (Grade 2 Minor Premiers)
Grade 2 could see a number of scenario's, ATCO taking out the Grade 3 premiership will see them not gain promotion due to their Grade 1 team being relegated into Grade 2. This will give Salisbury North and Rose & Crown B's a reprieve.
Angle Vale B's will be forced down to Grade 3 with their A's being relegated to Grade 2. It will allow Craigmore B's to be promoted to Grade 2.
Grade 2
Angle Vale
ATCO
Parafield Gardens
Salisbury West B
Smithfield
Salisbury North
Rose & Crown B
Craigmore B
Grade 3 is in a similar circumstance, Central United C's won the Grade 4 premiership but can't be promoted as their B's are in Grade 3.
Grade 3
Angle Vale B
ATCO B
Central United B
North Pines
Eastern Park B
One Tree Hill B
Parafield Gardens B
Smithfield B/ Two Wells
It gets too technical for the lower grades, Pete will have his hands full.

LM I know you don't get many things wrong when it comes to PDCA but I must correct you.
Craigmore won the grade 3 premiership last year not ATCO and should be promoted to grade 2 which will be a huge test for the club, not many have been able to survive in the top 2 grades for a long period, only Westies in recent times.

Ozolins to Grade 1
If Eastern Park can maintain the core of their group from last season for the entire year and add a mature/experienced head in there I think they will be very competitive in Grade 1.

Been confirmed that Dublin will take the final place in Grade 3 with Two Wells and Smithfield to drop to Grade 4.

Don't understand how Two Wells have managed to stay in Grade 4, they are a side that have finished in the top 3 the past 2 seasons but fall over come finals, they are a better side than grade 4 and about time they stepped up.

I'd say it's a case of footballers that play cricket, when pre-season starts their interest drops off.

With the appointment of Ben Stamatovich as captain/coach this year I think they will be more than competitive in Grade 4..
