I didn't see it other than youtube highlights and I am sure it was a cracker of a game but it is hard to get excited about the smaller clubs! ;-)

Good result for the Clarets this weekend.

Expected win over the Lions, all be it ugly, but the weather was atrocious.

Reading lost, Forest and Leicester (Fergie time is alive and well in the championship :D ), and Derby & QPR play each other tomorrow, so points gained all round and a 12 point gap between us and 7th.

Clarets get a draw at the Cherries. Not the best result we could have but it's another point. Four points ahead of QPR a d a 7 goal better difference
And we have slashed Leicester s lead to only 7 points

Still only lost 3 all season, better than anyone else in the league. I've signed up the box for two more seasons at this year's price so EPL football would be very nice :D

Clarets destroy Forest. 3 goals inside 35 mins. Another disallowed and 2 off the line. We should / could have been 6 or 7 up after only half an hour.
2nd half Burnley took the foot off the gas and Forest got a terrible penalty. Even Cox who dived about 3 seconds after he tackle looked embarrassed

D'Urso is a peanut

Derby won in 85th min to move into 2nd
QPR lost in the last minute and are 7 points off 2nd place

Next up at Turf Moor are Derby
Big game

Clarets destroy 3rd placed Derby to open up a 5 point gap.
QPR only draw whilst 5th placed Forest were beaten at home by Wigan.

Other than the Clarets only Leicester managed a win to maintain an 8 point lead at the top.

Today's result are interesting re the race to the EPL and the Playoff spots:

The mighty Foxes go 8 points clear again thanks to an easy 3 nil romp at Barnsley. In reality we should have won by far more (24 shots to 7 - us with 10 on target including hitting the bar in the 3rd minute to them none on target!). Also now clear by 15 points from 3rd after Brighton beat QPR 2-0 at home and Derby and Bolton drew nil all. Forest also held to a 1-1 draw with Boro away.

Surely now the "fat lady of the midlands" can start to clear her throat?

JTC won't be happy this morning (evening for him) after Burnely lead 3 times only to get a 3-3 draw with Birmingham away. This leaves Leicester 7 points clear of the Clarets with a game in hand.
