All Australian Team 2013 - predictions & general discussion

I thought the 22 was pretty close. Fyfe and Thomas probably the most stiff. Why put Mitchell on a HBF then name Mackie on the bench. If Mackie is in the team surely you put him at half back and Mitchell on the bench. Probably need to almost do it like a supercoach team and have forwards / mids / defenders instead of the old 18 positions that dont actually exsist anymore.

Ease up.
But surprised this years premiers (Freo) didnt have more in it.
Once again $ydney players over rated, McVeigh hasnt touched it for 10 weeks
Dangerfield, Jack lucky
Cloke didnt play CHF at all but i guess to fit the new golden boy in they had to put him out there
Riewoldt easily the best CHF

I thought the Hawks were going to win it this year? :?

Considering Stephen Milne was AA in 2011 and 2012 with 56 goals in both years, Lindsay Thomas is very unlucky.

With the likes of Mark Ricciuto on the selection panel, anything's possible.
One only has to look at his farcical performance when voting the NAB rising star.

I would have thought the 2 most important things a small forward has to do is kick goals and forward line pressure(tackles).
Anyways, it's all subject to opinion. Fact is that they both had great seasons.

Also Booney, finals stats don't count in AA selection. ;)

True, but I certainly didn't have the time to take out any post season stats. ;)

I would say nearly double the average possesions got Wingard the nod over Thomas.

I would say that one is a very good player and the other is not. I would sign up Wingard tomorrow for whatever he wanted, Thomas wouldnt be able to pay me enough to give him a game for the hawks

Every year there is always people crying about who made it or who didn't... Some people on Facebook are ridiculous, just get over it they ain't gonna change it cause YOU think someone else should be there

All pretty deserving selections I would have thought, obviously fair few unlucky to miss out though.

But Wingard played thru the midfield, while Thomas was an exclusive small forward, the position that Wingard was given...

Not to mention the quality of teams that Thomas scored his goals against compared to the softer PA draw

if i was you i'd be more concerned about friday night and not about us on saturday night...

regardless of result this saturday night, i'm bloody proud of the swans considering the massive amount of injuries we have had this year... but keeping writing us of though, we're used to people doing that...

i love hearing Hawthorn supporters cry foul, very hypercritical... How many strikes is Buddy at now? 3,4 or 5??? also if we win this week i really hope they can move the GF to the sunday so we can atleast get a 7 day break...

Looks like i'm right yet again, $ydney were an embarrassment to all the money the AFL throw at them.
How did the $ydney AA's go tonight, the 3 of them wouldnt have had 40 touches between them
