MENSCHY!! Gee did he cop some shit from Cat fans over the journey LOL. We were just a bit spoiled by Ablett, Brownless and Stoneham. Blokes like McCarthy, Playfair, Kingsley, Mench, Baldwin, Hall and Spinks were on a hiding to nothing.

Some absolute duds in there!

REB

Hooper, that early Draft pick from 1990 (??) how quickly they forget!

Hooper was a ruckman but another worthy addition along with Loats, Grgic, Miles, spriggs, Clarke...cripes no womder we couldnt win the flag!

REB

Perhaps one Stephen Handley could trump all of these blokes

I'd rather you do the 5AA "sports" (Crows) show by yourself than those two imbeciles...

Just you mumbling to yourself would make more sense...and the conversations would be more two-sided.

The hoo-ha has died down because we've all realised that you've just shit in your own nest. You blokes didn't even need Buddy you just didn't want GWS to get him. The AFL won't like this. The COLA's gone flat. Adios.

Kind of. I've looked at my crystal ball for 2022 and see there is zero chance of Buddy still playing then, zero chance of you having a COLA, 100% chance Sydney is even more expensive to live in and you blokes still paying millions to a bloke who hasn't played for years.
PAFC. Forever.

If he retires, we don't have to pay. If he wants the dollars, he will still be playing.

Cola will still be around in some form. Unless of course, Adelaide and Melbourne catch up with the rest of the country.

Yep it will be around but known as the "Expansion Allowance" for GWS and the Giants.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

You are right to a certain extent TSG, if he retires you dont have to pay him but you still have to include his payments in your salary cap for the duration of the 9 years.
Can see Buddy playing in the NEFL 3 times a year when not "injured" for 1.3mill a year for the last 4 years of the deal, no way will Buddy retire in the next 9 years, why would he?
