BW, I remain confident the opportunity to access the best training, rehab, welfare facilities in the competition, plus the prestige of winning a Premiership for Port Adelaide will be more than enough incentive for the PAFC's playing stocks to be more than adequately serviced.

I also think many will be surprised at both the numbers and the quality of those doing the upcoming pre-season under Darren Burgess.

Not every footballer plays simply for the money.

Beenreal, are you involved in the PAFC in anyway apart from being a supporter/member?

I think you live in a dreamworld, most players over the age 21/22 of will leave PAFC and look for opportunities elsewhere. Time will tell.

Probably going/Gone-
Gray
Beard
Watt
Kirkwood
Barnes
Heffernan
Heath
Slattery
Rose
Nyskohus
EDIT- Add Robson and Cockshell

There's just a few names I've read on here and ones I've been told that are leaving, I'm sure they'll be more names that'll come up. Anyone else on here got any more names leaving?

I have been told that Raisiwaka and Sharrad have signed to stay at the Power

I'm a proud and longtime Member of the Port Adelaide Football Club.

Nothing amuses me more than supporters of other clubs spouting how they think my club is going to conduct itself. Supporters who wish their club had the long-term record of success that my club wears as a badge of honour.

Fair enough mate. I was a Magpies supporter until now.

Nothing amuses me more than you believing most ex Magpie players will want to stay at the Power.

I believe in Fos Williams vision for the Port Adelaide Football Club to move beyond state boundaries. That was accomplished and the overall success honours his Legacy. Any outcry from "so called" Port Adelaide supporters does exactly the opposite.

Living in the 50's now.

Moved back three decades in a week.

I expect a full rundown of how jealous we are of the 1914 team in a month.

Well I guess we can speculate all we want, but only time will tell how many magpie players line up for the power reserves.

Each to there own :) I'm sure he has strong reasons why he wants to support the power reserves, just as I have strong reasons to be walking away from the SANFL. Will be very very interesting to see who stays around at Alberton next year.

And you all feel free to bring up any decade you like. I love any opportunity to tell how we dominated the competition.

This current millennium hasn't been much of a highlight reel for the magpies. What's your highest finish?

How did the 2000's pan out Champ?

Even with the lack of success over the last decade, I wonder how doggies supporters feel knowing you will never be able to win a premiership against the real magpies.
