All players would be 0 pointers, so it is not a bad idea by Annese. Understandable why a few at Henley are not happy with this however, considering they allowed him to break his contract for 2014 to take the Glenunga job.
Not good for Henley though whose depth is not at its strongest atm. You can't blame guys for seeking opportunities elsewhere; but at the same time, it's hard for HFC B/C grade to compete when money is being thrown around.

I have heard that another couple of players who i hadn't expected to move from Henley to Glenunga have done just that. One is a guy who who has only played C's, but the other is a B grader who managed to play A grade this season, an am quite surprised by this guy leaving...
It will be interesting to see how all these guys go next year, I am sure they will all be up to it. Smart recruiting strategy though, as all are 0 pointers.
Must be a lot of cash floating around GFC at the minute though if they were able to lure these guys accross and that Goodwood A grader!

I thought you would already know, marbles. I would rather not name names on the forum considering there is 5 months (give or take) between now and round 1 and a lot can change in that time. If anyone wishes to know names they can PM me.

Just left doing some Christmas shopping at Marion with the one who just destroyed my credit card. Run into some CLG players whom I've played against. They said they have picked up a ruckman called Murnane. Someone would know. Is that the same big bloke who at some stage played at North Haven?

Interesting. Yes that's the same one. I know him quite well through cricket and footy, he played 12 games for us this season and I have asked him about this at cricket training and he has said to me it's bullshit. Told me he went and watched a mate of his play for CLG in the finals but is not playing there. This could of always changed though.

Wow this is huge news if true. Left Haven on bad terms, and would make for an interesting time when CLG play North Haven next season.

I know that he has talked to CLG a few times at least. He chose to leave because his form had him starting on the pine and he thought he was better than that.

I dont think too many people would care whether he plays against us or not.

Exactly, he'd care about playing against NH more than we would. Loves the cricket club but isn't too fond of the footy club now.

The Haven lads wouldn't give a toss whether he played them or not. Unfortunately he didn't have a great season and showed a lack of commitment to the team. I don't think he won too many supporters but no one really dis- liked him. CLG would be advantaged to have him provided they wanted NOTHING more than centre taps and boundary throw-ins. He fades to the shadows around the ground during play

Tell you what no wonder people tee off @ North Haven on these forums. The amount of shots @ rival clubs and individuals that come from certain people (not all) associated with Havens on these forums is a disgrace and I'm amazed the club puts up with it.

Dark Night and HH3 are the most regular north haven posters and wouldnt of thought they'd be doing this. After all the crap Murnane pulled last year (constantly going out late friday night getting drunk and lying about it, lying to the coach about overseas holidays etc etc and worst of all not performing at anywhere near the level a paid player should be) then so what if the boys get stuck into him.
