Is he 100 years old?

You're thinking of a centenarian. The Dolphins have actually recruited a Roman soldier.

against a div1R team perhaps? how do you reckon they would go? lol

Have to be one of the bottom 4 side to be a any fair sort of game. Even that would be a ? mark
Wouldn't be any good against the top 4 sides in Div 1 Res most those guys would be A grades in any Div 3 side some are very good players. personally I say the fitness level would be the main issue Div 5 clubs just don't train as hard as Div 1 clubs and that's speaking from training at both levels.

Matty Slade training out at Greenacres. Any truth to this?

From what I have heard, the coaches have recruited quite a few at this stage. They have a few ex-Centrals players who will be helping out at training and working with the young lads. Could be interesting to see what happens, particularly with guys of that calibre having some input.

Slade would be 38 and ya can't beat the clock he wouldn't have the same impact as his doggy days. He would be very handy at a club for experience however for younger players around him. I couldn't see the Gowans having anything to do with div 5 at the moment. They'd have plenty of other options in the pipeline.

At $250 each, that means we're only spending about $17,000 a match. When did we get so stingy and cut the budget?

Anyone of note this year ??
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
