With a past players 'slowdown' game scheduled for 10.30 and these guys playing in the 2's it should be a massive day for club!

Was only looking at his stats this morning, in his first ever season of footy in 2000 he only played 2 b grade games and was part of our clubs first premiership side that year. Obviously took to the game pretty quickly.

Sorry beefy. Been 19 years - did it on memory - a lot of brain cells drowned in that time. Was the year before, that clg scrapped in. They did however play in knockout finals to get there and NH were the favourites. And yes the t-shirts did happen so most of it was right haha.

Beefy where did you get that info from? I wouldn't mind revisiting my finals/tables from that era as well.

I played in that game......it was your old mans last game from memory.
We lead by 3 goals at half time and looked pretty good until the umpire came in during the half time break and said he was sending one of our players off for the whole game and he couldn't be replaced so we were down to 17 on the field for the second half.
He was sent off for an alleged head butt that one of the goal umpires saw.
Needless to say they ran over the top off us eventually and won by 2-3 goals.

We lost at least 2 games and drew with CLG that year as I remember the draw as it's the only draw I have ever been involved in.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Pretty firey day. Still remember 2 Mitcham supporters in the back of their Ute dancing to "I'm a hippy and I wanna get stoned on Marija Marijuana" naked after they won the magoos....

Saw some pretty good finals there over the years. Reckon in 96 or something like that the umpires lucky to leave the ground alive 1 year with Transadelaide Tigers. Reckon that umpire owes his well being to our footy director....

Against Brahma Lodge I would say the best umpires I have ever had.

Just on the whole Haven V GLG at Kenilworth if those teams make it I don't reckon the game will be there as they league try to make the games neutral in terms of distance. With Thebarton out of the equation Woodville Oval or Richmond Oval would be Ok.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet
