Anyone want to make my Friday a bit more interesting at work by compiling a Div 5 Team of the Year? I'm sure there will be many points of conjecture.

Okay... so no takers??? Well fortunately I have taken the first-step and pardon my biased selections and I may have a few positions out of place, but it is a rolling team and happy for feedback (rather than direct criticism ;) ).

will try and catch up with you during the ressies game robran and good luck to your side..

i agree on abbott..has to be on the wing..maybe swap puccini with cree to get a small in the forward lines..havent seen kildea play BP before either..marshall doesnt play in defence..power a bit slow for the wing imo..swap with francis..dubrich, wood, adams, scholefield could all be included as well..good start magpies nest..i would add more names and suggestions but i have some other things on my mind atm!

Seriously good sportsman is Paul Cree.

State indoor cricketer and has also made the state side in indoor netball. A Grade Cricketer at Pooraka and Has played D1 A grade at Gepps too I believe.

Wonder what brought him out to PH?

Scholefield was out for much of the last half of the season - in a moonboot.

Good start to Div 4 for NHFC after Energy Australia thanks to the great season of Steve Summerton provided them with a cheque for 10,000 big ones.

WOS home by 5 goals, looked very good, Harvey is a big fat sook, took the boots off at three quarter time and sat on the pine, won't be taking WOS lightly, very impressive

WOS are the finals giant killers coming from 5th for the second year, a very tight knit group who play for each other. Well done hope they go all the way.

Tough going from Div 6 to to Div 4 without a flag, sorry zedman. Sherwood is a finals genius. ;)
