SAAFL division 6 2014

Spectator abuse in our back pocket Saturday cost us a couple of goals in the last quarter when we were threatening to blow out the margin. I sort of understand if the abuse comes from the bench then something should be done but from spectators is silly. On this occasion we knew the blokes and our match day officials dealt with it but its a bit over the top from the umpire imo.

Is there a memo that was suppose to be sent out to the clubs that I missed here? Or does this rule only work in Division 6 SAAFL and no other comp in the state?

The abuse I saw paid for a free kick was from a supporter wearing no club uniform and wasn't for any decision paid on the day. Just asked the umpire to hurry up his ball tossing.
