Didn't you lose some rear teeth in that hit Zed? Was a pretty firey day that one I remember the magoos almost being called off after our reactions to some of the biggest acts of thuggery and stupidity I had seen on a footy feild.

And one of our blokes going over the line chasing down a footy and some bloke in the crowd punched him in the head. ******* hell that day almost tipped over :)

didnt lose any but had to have a bit of repair work done on some chipped molars..dentistry by the awesome Dr Tony Signoriello a previous KFC captain..i remember taking a mark at about CHF and feeding a handball off, next thing i was looking at the concrete outside the coaches box..only time i was ever knocked out..surreal experience..

do you remember the trembath v fowler slugfest? they were the worst hits ive ever seen by 2 players on each other in terms of damage to faces..

Haha sure do. As I said brutal day of footy and back then we had plenty of blokes who wouldn't back off if provoked as some of the Northern teams found out :)

Still runs the bloody wrong way though ;)

Would Rosewater be one of the only ground that runs East-West? I've tried thinking of others but cant think of many, only ones that maybe similar perhaps PNU is a little bit that way, and Gaza?

You silly boy.
Greatest oval to play footy on in the SAAFL runs East/West and it's a Malcolm Blight screw punt from Rowe Park PG.
Yeeeeees that right.
Lindblom Park.

not sure if you were around when mario and tony fiore took on the greenacres A grade team out on grand junction rd one day on the bottom oval? some of our teams from the parkside days were frighteningly hard at it..and greenacres were just as tough..some huge battles..

Yeah Mick Gilmour reckons Rocky Marafioti was as harder footballer he has seen. Big compliment from him as you know he doesn't hand out praise all that often :)

Yeeeeees that right.
Lindblom Park.

Lindblom Park is not East West....runs parallel with Port Wakefield Road and in the same direction as Rowe Park and North Pines

I've always thought/felt Lindblom is East/West.

Along with Unley, Plympton and Rosewater. Haven't really had issues at Seaton.
