Hopefully the Gunners can win it and put to rest all the continued talk of years without a trophy.

Winning it will be a nice way to send Wegner off. By the time the Final is played, Arsenal may have finished outside the Top 4 and it could be the end to Wegner's time at Arsenal.

Hopefully steve bruce puts out the team that he put out in the second half last night, sagbo up front on his own was terrible. george boyd was rubbish and huddlestone must play central def midfield, is the key

The trouble is these days clubs like Arsenal, Man U, City, Chelsea etc have degraded the value of the FA Cup with their lack of respect for it as a trophy. The promised land of the CL is far more important which means most of the big clubs field weakened sides.

Unfortunatley the FA Cup isn't a great deal more important than th eLeague Cup.

Aresenal winning the FA Cup this year and not qualifying for the CL will still leave them as underachievers.

you have a point there, these big clubs put more emphasis on making it into europes elite competition than winning cups. Its a shame but at the same time these competitions mean so much to supporters, to be able to celebrate a win would mean so much to them, particularly arsenal supporters.

I like the underdog winning anyway, like wigan last season, Go Hull City

Not me.

While I agree that the bigger clubs put more focus on the Champions League, the Gunners and more so Wegner need this trophy. It'll put to bed the constant taunts of not having won a trophy since moving to Emirates Stadium.

No it won't
They'll just add "of any significance"

In all seriousness the only trophies that mean anything now are the EPL title and the CL title.

Agree Johnny, unfortunately the Cup has become fairly insignificant over the last decade. Sad really but the FA doesnt help the cause by their poor scheduling

Those two titles are the top two. Which is the top one will depend on who you talk to - Mourinho puts the CL ahead of the PL, some might do it the other way around.

I still think the FA Cup holds a lot of prestige
