SA losing the plot a bit here, our only hope of 6 points is if we dont have to bat again, no point getting bowled out here and only ending up 100 in front.. Need to get 200 in front to put pressure on their line up tomorrow arvo

The only way we will get a big enough lead is to go the tonk now

Disagree, i think we can bat until lunch, the ouright is a long shot anyway and we will rely on them choking on this deck. still gives us 65 overs to bowl them out and 200 to defend.
Dont need to go the tonk and risk being bowled out less than 100 in front.

200 in two sessions will be chased down with ease and overs remaining. It's not even 4 an over on a pitch as good as it was on day 1

Read my post buddy, I thought I stated pretty clearly that it was the rules/laws that are the issue here  Forget it!

Back something worth discussing......... great knock from Hughes (just got out BTW - 204), but I really hope Head can notch up his ton here. He's been in such great form and certainly deserves to have a FC 100 to his name.

Yes, the rules/laws that were changed so that he could play. I think the majority of my post was about just that.
How did you miss it?
Anyway, thanks for the score update.

Had to be aggressive but not stupid. 5 down, 90 or so in front at stumps is a good situation. I'm not sure I'd bat again tomorrow, seems a little pointless. Send them in, if we bowl them out in 60 overs we know what we need and how fast we need them. Can't imagine even if we do bowl them out in 60 that they'd be much more than 200 in front. Also would dangle that little carrot that WA might still have outright points in mind themselves.
