Adelaide Uni executed their skills far better than us and were a touch fitter. They kicked seven goals to our one goal in the second quarter, which was the difference in the end.

Didn't help that we lost our ruckman and best midfielder in the first quarter.

But yes, Adelaide Uni will be tough to beat all year if they keep that side together.

Adelaide Uni were an ok side in D6 last year. They smashed us at home. At their peak and if everything above them is aligned they can beat anyone.

Took a screamer, but came down and landed on his head. Concussion rule meant he didn't come back on and will miss next week probably.

Cam got ko'd in first 10 mins of game. He will have to miss next week aswell because of concussion rule.

Also lost our best midfielder in first Q. Three broken ribs!!

Not an ideal start for us but Im sure we have the talent to get back on track next week!!

We have a very different side from last year and it will prob take a couple weeks for us all to gel, but I believe our team this year will be better than last years side.

AU were a very good side, as good if not better than Ingle Farm last year.

They were very young and fit and had a great level of skill. They spread well and moved the ball quickly.

Question is can they keep this team together for 18 weeks???!!!!!!

The midfield was all class on most occasions and Mick Moss was as good as Halliday if not better imo. The only ruck I've ever seen who is smart enough (and strong enough) to start using the flanks (hf and un) as rovers in centre ball ups if his own are getting beaten in the clearances.

And was a tower in the goal square, if only he could kick straight though

Methinks Wingfield should have been in D7 Reserves and and FP in D7.
