Why would being called a woman be insulting?

Was pretty impressed with North Pines last week, they have some quality footballers in O'Loughlin and Sansbury who are very hard to stop through the midfield.. Their use of the footy by foot was extremely impressive, only issue may be depth as they seemed to struggle in the D grade against our D's.. i am assuming that a majority of the pending in's they had were cleared by the time they suited up against us last week?

SHOC, like many other clubs are struggling for numbers in a big way. This isn't the first time this season that the d grade has nearly forfeited. Only 6-10 regulars. I spose the ring ins are not that keen to travel to the other side of town.

Been mixed for years and years. Don't remember too many forfeits from D grades over this time.

Or are you suggesting that their players didn't want to front up to Smithfield?

North Pines much improved on last year. Use the ball well, just lacking in fitness.

I think you need 16 players. I have been a critic of Smithfield in the past but credit has to given. Obviously they smashed us today and are a very good side. But disciplined as well considering SHOC had a very good run with the umpires. In fact some decisions were just crazy bad SHOCs way. Smithfield also put on a couple of jugs for the SHOC boys which was great and we were very appreciative of. So hats of to the Smithfield people for turning things around. Impressive.

Not at all Q. Just struggling for numbers like many and when 1/2 the boys are phoned Thursday and Friday to help out the 2 hour drive isn't all that appealing. Especially when they have helped out the previous 3 games.

Pretty sure it's 14 players minimum.
