Great win by the Aussies, bowlers did a superb job in both innings.

Lets get our top order worked out right and get rid of the porridge.

MItchell Johnson, one test doesnt equate to a series but you were awesome this test, needs to now follow it up

Good on Clarke for getting stuck into the weak prick

Don't see how Anderson is a weak prick? Australia totally outplayed England for the last 3 and half days and deserved the win with MJ outstanding with bat and ball also Haddins first innings has almost gone through unacknowledged doesn't change the fact Anderson is a number 11 batsmen and Clarke is a F#*k wit.

He is a weak prick because he couldnt ignore the sledging by Clarke, he just needed to get on with it. Broad copped crap all his first innings and he just got on with the job and didnt bite back. Anderson just looked like a sook, the best thing is the Aussies wont let up on him now fir remainder of the series

Look to me as though Anderson was complaining about receiving a few short balls?

Yes he was sooking about the ammount of short balls he was getting so Clarke brought back on MJ and told him to prepare for a broken faarken arm. Anderson apparantly didnt appreciate it and then Bailey said something to him at the end of the over and then things got heated

Bailey should really keep his mouth shut considering he looked all at sea out there. Only going to end in disaster for him.

Didn't see most of the Test but to me the Poms are in serious trouble from the hilights. They were bashed around severely and the ways they got out were the signs of a side who were not prepared and its done some serious damage.
Keep bullying them we've been too nice for too long and its good to see us mentally testing teams. If we maintain it will translate in to consistent runs for the top order too....

Agree, but unfortunately I don't think we are going to get to bully them on the slower Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney decks and even to the point those 3 pitches will suit the poms more than us, very similar to the pitches the produced in the recent ashes series.

It hasn't for Watson so far and he's had 10 years not 10 minutes.

Early call but I reckon the damage is already done. They were bloody terrible and I can't remember a test side losing so many sockets in such a short amount of time from what looked like fear. We have been shit but our talent pools haven't been crash hot and combine that with inexperience. This mob have talent but **** all ticker

The thing is as well it was basically MJ that did all the damage and by my own admission he was outstanding but in the past his like that for a test then all at sea for the next 4 tests so wil be interesting to see which MJ rocks up in Adelaide.

And in terms of looking terrible against the short bowling did anyone see Clarkes first innings dismissal? Only to back it up with a ton so it can be turned around quickly. Momentum is a huge thing in sport and Australia had 3 huges swings of momentum in MJ and Haddin in the first dig then the 6/9 and 4/10 in the second them 3 periods was were the game was won.

The better team over the test won the game but it's here in Adeladie now I'm predicting both sides having 1 innings....

Surely, give the Adelaide deck some water. For the first time in 15 years. Keep all the decks bouncy and fast.

Can't half tell that you're a coach Carey, glass is always half full :)

I reckon these blokes are in strife and no matter where they turn they are getting whacked. Even things like the Barmy Army are getting some stick and the Queensland media gave it to them.

Boof only had short time with the team in England and now he's got them mentally prepd.

We'll see how good the Poms are this summer keep up the bullying I say. Even if we go down.... I don't think we will but....

I dont think poms are in trouble as they have the ability to turn it around. They will be prepared for the short stuff and MJ stuff.

Trott is a good player but his dismissal was.horrendeous in the first dig and just as bad in the second. But he is a good player he will bounce back especially if Adelaide is a road.

Anyway it was a good test match with plenty of fire.

Yeah I think the Poms are a long way from done, and I don't think we'll see them rollover like that again during the series. The Aussies need to build on that performance now and get all of their batsmen into form.

Why wouldn't they follow up the GABBA test with the WACA test - Hard to come back from 2 nil down... Having a test in Adelaide only gives them a chance to bat themselves back into form.

How good, Boof and Clarke are trying to bring back the Aussies of old! Nothing wrong with a bit of mongrel and fight!

Don't care what Clarke is like off the field he is a fierce competitor on the field and wears his heart on his sleeve. Anderson loves to give it out but doesn't like to receive it. I have a feeling it probably stems back from last ashes series as nearly every Aussie player was giving it to him and Siddle gave him a massive send off!

Shake hands like they did and play on! Bring on the 2nd test!
