3 years time they will still be younger than anyone else in the current team.

i could see them bringing faulkner in for bailey just so that harris and siddle dont have to bowl 30 overs each

Good call. Although I haven't seen that much of Head but that's what happens when you get married.

Ryan Harris to miss from all reports.

Dont say I didnt tell you so.
Selectors are still doubtfull about his reliability and need him cherry ripe for Perth

I too had an inkling he would make way.

Cant say I agree with the decision if it pans out that way but the writing is on the wall that Perth is the chance to go 2-0, not adelaide (in the selectors minds that is).

What are the chances of SACA doing spot membership ID checks on Day 1?

I "know a guy" who is using his mate's card for day 1 as I can't make it until day 2 onward - risky or not?

Very high. I know of someone who got done last year on day 3 or 4. Took the card off them and then advised them that they could using a legitimate card purchase a guest pass and re enter the members area.

Saw him for the first time the other week. Looks to score quickly and dominate, probably plays a few loose strokes still. Looks like the sort of guy that once he is on top will score really big. (Short term nervousness in the 90s notwithstanding)

England to fight back in this one, been way to much publicity over the Australians leading up to this game. Anyone would think we had Lillee, Thomson/ Walker back in the side with Mallett bowling some offies.

Aussies batting still worries me greatly

Cant remember Johnson ever going back to back with good performances. Harris has to play.

Guess time will tell.

Johnson has 19 wickets at 23 when playing tests in Adelaide.

Super Mitch will back it up.

The only advice mal could offer Lyon is to not look up too high in the sky as the ball sails over the fence.

The roof of mals mouth is still sunburnt...... ;)

Yeah I agree here. Even without Trott they still have plenty of ability to get back into this series. Anderson is still a handfull and it looks like Bresnan could be back soon for them.

Our batting is very suspect when the pressure is on. Watson needs some runs and needs to start looking like a number 3. Bailey has a way to at the moment and Rogers is strugging.

Our bowling without Harris will struggle, Johnson could dish up anything and this deck is likely to be fairly flat.

Was very disheartened to hear Harris' comments yesterday about the pitch. Mentioned it looked flat and dry already and said the bowlers will be very sore at the end of the test as it will be hard work.
Doesnt sound promising at all, hope they can get some juice into it before Thursday

Nope, eastern stand is out of action until the footy season, but southern, western (obv) and the hill bring it up to 30 odd thousand for the test

The seating might be ready to go but it will still be the same shit service in the food outlets and grog shops as it has always been. no wonder it is so over priced.
