South Africa did a few years ago when they made over 400 in the 4th innings.

Doubt England would though.

Luck has had so much to do with our two test wins. Poms drop a catch or miss a run out, changes the whole series.

I love it when the poms come out pre-series, that the Aussie side is worst ever.

Just as in '89, and now with Botham in current series.

I reckon Boof is the key factor in how we are going. Awesome coach.

Let's smash them in Perth in 3 days and get the urn back.

That was a quick wrap up!
My first chance to check the net today and it's all over. Great to get such an emphatic win in "batter friendly" Adelaide.
Much of a crowd there today? They'd be feeling a bit ripped off.
Well done Aussies! Well done Boof! Well done Mitch!

Any photos? People love posting shield photos of empty stadiums, how about a packed Adelaide Oval Ashes photo?
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Johnson and Stokes have been charged by the ICC for the contact they made on the pitch yesterday. What a joke!

All it ever needed was some neat trim, and Adelaide is world class!
Really looking forward to returning home next year. 13 years is too bloody long! :D

I was/still am very anti the Adelaide redevelopment mainly because I didn't and still don't believe going from 2 major sporting venues to 1 is good or progress for SA

But

They have done a very very good job of the AO development bar the footbridge for mind. The old and new combine beautifully!!!

Unfortunately I think the hill/scoreboard will be gone in five years!!!

Given most places in the world have long been condensing stadium needs to have fewer but a higher standard, I don't see how it could be anything but a step forward. If soccer takes off then we'd need an upgraded second stadium, but neither are truly appropriate and an upgrade of Hindmarsh makes most sense.

I don't see what threat the hill and scoreboard are under. They didn't take them out to make a 50k+ stadium, what need to we realistically have to put in more stands and make a 70k stadium? If they didn't take them out now, they won't for a long, long time.

Amazing what happens when we havnt got a wanker in charge of the national side and get someone who has a clue. Pity the SACA couldnt see these qualities in Boof
