Watson goes alright in all forms when he gets value for shots. This may suit him. If he fires we should own the ashes by Tuesday. 5/300 today would do nicely 8)

Smith, Rogers and Watson all averaging 20 this series so far... Smith has a chance to improve that before Watson and Rogers, so i'd expect one of Rogers or Watson has to make way next test.

And I reckon it will be Rogers, Watson safe for atleast one more (unless Rogers scores 50+ in the 2nd dig and Watson fails)

Watson's part time bowling keeps him in the side. Although you need a no. 3 who can make runs and turn 50s into 100s. North and Hughes are making 100s in the Shield games although North's age (34) may leave him out of the selectors sights

He bowled 2 overs in the first test and 9 in the second. Not enough to justify his selection when he is averaging 20.

Even session, perhaps England slightly in front with Clarkes wicket,

Reckon there is a good chance we will see England batting late in the last session somehow, some pretty casual batting by our guys so far
