See the Libs Jayme Diaz branch stacking effort at the last election.

I did say "more difficult" not impossible.
Sometimes the locals can be conned or pressured, or extra people eligible to join the local branch can be drummed up.
However, that is a long way from the systemic power brokering machine in the ALP which makes general membership voting rights meaningless.

I can't talk about other parties - I've been to a few Greens meetings about issues I care about, but the theme there seems to be less about power brokering and more about "alternative economics" and the idea that debt doesn't matter because the government can just print more money.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

lol Billy boy says today that Abbott shouldn't be criticising the opposition from overseas and basically no one in a government he is in would go overseas to focus on domestic politics whilst there.

This is a mob that was in government only 4 months ago and their foreign minister resigned from Washington so that they could have a spill for the leadership, that's a bit of domestic politics conducted from overseas right there =))

do as we say, not as we do....

it has always been convention that when talking to people from other countries, you dont involve them with the national politics of your country. i mean why do they give a shit.

until tony that is.

especially when he just junked the previous economic stimulus policy, which most economists agree was a good thing to do. makes him look stupid.

It's hard not to look stupid when he clearly is....

news polls out today confirm Billy boy "honeymoon period" is over with dissatisfaction shown towards him from the poll.

I think he needs to look at this and realise his 4th stint as the leader of this party is again not working....
