i certainly see were you all are coming from... But i'll stick to my guns.

I find after doing selection on a thursday night, especially after the real difficult ones, it's great to come home and not really have to think a great deal and have a few chuckles....

and i actually like sam, gaz and JB... Yep... i'm not even trolling... :D

I would much prefer Before the Game over an hour long intro by BT and Darcy.

especially when its a game that isnt even shown, like when they would have the intro to richmond collingwood or something, then show the crows/power game instead

BT is the biggest dickhead of any of them. even more than sam newman. there, i said it...

Wowee!

BT was ten times the caller when he was with Fox footy, when he moved to seven his ego expanded immensely - he also has a tendency to talk down to other commentators.

Absolutely. I enjoyed seeing the lighter side of the footy from Before The Game, The Footy Show (Thursday nights only) & The Marngrook Footy Show.

i reckon it's on par now. Rush home on thursdays from selection to see it. Popular viewing in my household.

100% with you I love the footy show.

And if you actually listen to what Sam Newman says he is a highly intelligent man.

The footy show isn't about stats and facts like a 360 or league teams it's more of a light hearted piss take you need to take the show for what it is either way a hell of a lot better than before the bounce!
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

LOL, it was painful listening to Newmans defense of Druggendon all year.

Still, what was it that Essendon was actually guilty of other than being the target of overblown media hype?

Actually I watch neither of them due to work, Hockey or being at a Football game. About time BTG got axed most annoying show on TV. The footy show has gotten stale IMO and you need either Brayshaw or Lyon not both and I would rather have JB than Gaz hosting it.

No way. Can't stand Brayshaw & he's not even a football personality. Lyon would be the best option . But it's completely past its use-by date now IMO
