One wonders why we have gone back in our shell this innings

Smith 19 off 77
Bailey 0 off 19
Johnson 2 off 30

Lot different in the last 3 tests

well knock the ball into gaps for a single or two, then when the bad ball comes along play the attacking shots it aint rocket science

Plus these guys are supposed to be professional, what they cannot adapt their game to changing pitch conditions

As a former umpire that was out

Bowling non spinners from around the wicket and from front on you can see the ball has already gone past middle stump. Typical movement from a batsmen towards the offside made it look more like he was hit in front further over than he was. Trust me, the computer is far more accurate then the naked eye.

The Saffer media were going with that yesterday.
Some of them are very critical of him pulling the pin now

Disappointing end to the day though. I don't blame Clarke for bowling first. We field well we knock them over under 200. It also doesn't matter what you do if you bat poorly.

Just disgusting isn't it? The bloke's 38 and his batting has dipped dramatically this year.

I think the Saffer media is as brutal as ours, for all the great service he has given their side there are still several outlets who take pot shots at him.
Probably similar to the constant media attacks on Ponting over his final 12 months.
Even at Kallis' age id still rather us face a side without him than with him

Very sad news, he adds huge entertainment value to the cricket when driving around listening, perhaps Ch 9 should offer him some big bucks ;)
