Round 18 Split Round wrap up

With 5th-11th still anyone's, teams are being forced to trade to have a chance of playing finals.
The Top 4 appear to be locked away and can afford to hold off trading.

Most coaches have a Sandi Donut and some very unlucky ones also have McDonalds 93 stuck on the bench.



SampiTurtle (18th) 953 from 9 vs Harrynutts (3rd) 1023 from 9

Unfortunately SampiTurtle seems to have dissapeared for the year and will be relegated. Its a shame because his side only needs a few tweaks and he could give have given Harrynutts a scare.


GreedyGuns (17th) 1019 from 10 vs Honey Badgers (8th) 933 from 8

N.Roo puts on a clinic to give the Guns a big start but they will still need to burn a trade to drop Swan to get over the HoneyBadgers.
Interesting game with GreedyGuns desperately needing a win to avoid relegation and the Badgers desperate to remain in the 8


Hondas Heroes(14th) 850 from 8 v cdfcdevils (15th) 1333 from 10

cdfc are finally hitting some form and will belt the Heroes who are just a shadow of their 2013 side. But neither side will play finals or be relegated.


ChardySocialists (10th) 1036 from 11 v Les's Men (2nd) 870 from 8

I never would of tipped Chardy but Les has a Sandi donut and Fyfe as captain gives the Socialists a big opportunity to win and sneak into the 8. Sharks/Bulldogs/Badgers will be watching this game closely.


Dutchys Dodos (16th) 831 from 9 vs Ben Roflsburgers (1st) 732 from 8

Both cop a Sandi Donut but Dutchy needs to drop Ablett to have a chance. If Roflsburgers win they will finish Minor Premier.


Cowboys (6th) 607 from 7 vs Boongas Bulldogs (7th) 968 from 9

Match of the week, both sides desperate for a win to stay in the 8.
Bulldogs have a great start with only Ambrose poor but Sandi Donut really hurts. Cowboys aren't travelling too well either with Goddard/Hibbered/Dalhaus poor but they havent used their Captain yet. This will go down to the wire but I'm tipping the Cowboys


Bruest Rovers FC (13th) 528 from 6 vs Sharks (9th) 960 from 9

Impossible to tip with so many unique players separating the 2. This will come down to their Captain selection and Sharks must trade Derickx to avoid a Donut.



IF ManBearPigs (11th) 968 from 11 vs Cossi's Carnts (4th) 1205 from 11

Cossi continues to cruise his way into the Top 4. Not putting huge points on the board but consistently gets the job done.


Ecky's Fevolas (5th) 1208 from 10 vs Team Fish 473 from 7

Ouch! Ecky is putting on a clinic here and will pick up some very handy percentage to lock in 5th and a sneaky chance to take 4th if Cossi stumbles.

Yeh I was quietly happy with that trade after Friday nights game.

The lid is firmly on don't worry about that, I'll just be happy to lock in a top 4 spot considering I have been away for 8 weeks of the season.
