How many Sydney siders would rather a Rugby League or Soccer Ball for Xmas than an AFL football?

The ones I know what prefer a Rugby Union ball but they're educated. ;)

Yeah but Rah Rah remains complete and utter shite.

Gibbs for McKernan?

Where's Dangerfield going?

Lets hope Danger ends up at Sydney with Kurt and Buddy to be a part of the new "blood$ culture"

Gibbs is giving indications like Dangerfield that he will stay. I'm not sure what those "indications" are but apparently they are there.

Gibbs for McKernan? Since Gibbs would come as a free agent are you saying that giving McKernan is losing less than nothing? ;)
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Yeah. Gibbs and Dangerfield are making indications they'll stay. Just like Ablett and Franklin.

Dangerfield will stay. Would put my house on it.

Not sure about Gibbs tbh. If he has another average year and gets offered a huge deal I can see him coming back to SA.

fingers and toes are crossed haha.

And with tippett, gunston, bock, davis all leaving recently, The crows' track record isnt great.

just imagine how good the crows would be with all of those blokes still in the team. would probably have the best forward line in the league, and top 5 defence and midfield.

its not helpful to daydream sometimes

Agree, no one will show all thier cards now - Dangerfield has this year and next to run on his contract. Would love to see him stay but he did say he wants to play in a successful side so that may be our issue. There is a large number of superstar players that never got to play off in a GF let alone win one and he seems to want to avoid being one of those players - I personally would feel the same way.

Mckernan lucky he is out with concussion. Probably would have & should have been dropped. He's had his chances.
Would like to see the crows persist a bit more with Lewis Johnston though. Hard for him to put defensive pressure on a team when he's outnumbered 4 to 1. North Adelaide played him as a swingman, like Westhoff does, in the GF last year so maybe that's an option.

i like johnston in general but he was horrible below his knees in the first couple of games. just didnt do enough to lock the ball in there. he will be back into the side soon i would think, once he gets a bit of form going

We turned Gunston into a gun, premiership player, i see no reason why we cant do the same with Dangerfield, he will learn how to kick effectively at the Hawks

I am a Swans fan who is sitting behind goals/in pocket at the northern end today. Will I be able to hear any of those scary 19th man chants? Hope I'm within laughing distance.

Slow work day here
Cats (A)
Port (A)
Swans (H)
Saints (A)
GWS (H)
Dogs (A)
Demons (H)
Bye
Pies (H)

From this we should be
4 wins
2 50/50 (Swans/Pies) This is dependent on their form leading up.
1 Showdown - Anything can happen
1 loss - Cats

So potentially after 8 rounds we could be at worst 5-3.

Could be 1-7. Should beat Saints. 50/50 with Pies, Demons, Dogs and GWS.

I fear I have been too generous towards the Crows. Excellent chance to be 0-8.

Won't that be fun.

It's more than a little funny that their season is over before their reserves even take the field.
