Yes but playing for a league side though

He was a reserve player so must of been a reserves team

Can u seriously not see the difference between reserves footballers being scattered amongst league sides and there being an out and out reserves side for a club in a higher league.

Won't be long before we see the same references for Port.

They already are google port power reserves and most articles from all the media outlets mention

'The SANFL has accepted the Magpies to become the Port Power reserves'

But Port Adelaide magpies still have players that will play in that league comp that aren't AFL listed players. So you know saying that they aren't a reserve side. They difference between the 2 is the amount of AFL listed players. Is there a special number which makes you a reserve side?

The difference is their priority and intention

Port Magpies number one priority now is to give games to Powe listed players and to develope them to be able to play in the Port Powers AFL side. There is nothing wrong with that but that is almost the definition for being a 'reserves' side

Where as clubs like Centrals etc etc number one priority was to win SANFL league premierships even meaning at times that AFL listed players played SANFL reserves, even meaning they lost AFL listed players because they weren't using the players how their owners liked. That's clearly not a reserves side

Yes. The number is "all".

Will "all" of Port Power's players line up in the Magpies if they are not listed in the AFL team (excluding injuries, etc)?

Yes?

Magpies = Port Power's reserves.

Yep!!

I happen to be pretty close mates with game day analasyt for the Power, sits on Hinkleys left shoulder in the box lol and he wil tell to you that Hinkley and co including Hocking see the Magpies as 100% reserves side and will be used accordingly.

Funnily enough most of the power coaching staff and game day coaching team are non south australians or non port people and don't even recognise the Magpies as having the old history as they believe it went with the Power

Oh so now priority and intention decide what is a reserve side? Why do you keep changing your argument? I'm pretty sure if you ask hocking his number 1 priority will be for his side to win as many games as possible and that includes a flag.

There is ONLY reason Energy Australia are sponsoring the whole club. They spent 9 months investigating whether the community commitment from the PAFC was lip service or genuine.

Suffice to say, the result is they are sponsoring the Magpies as well.

So, we'll all just wait and see how the Power AFL team and the Power Magpies shape up this year.

9 months? That's hilarious. Any other trustworthy club would have taken them a week.
