Oh, don't ever refer to her as "wide" instead of "wife" at any stage.

Don't inspect the door jambs and a offer to remove them so she'll fit through.

Don't offer to poke the baby on the top of its head.

And definitely don't choose 'coming home day' as the day to remove the back wall of your home for the extension.

I keep telling her it's a Holland boy...because only a Holland boy could cause her as much grief as she's been having this time around!

wife hit the 30 week mark yesterday... This pregnancy is flying by... Very active little thing.. Going nuts!!! Pretty cute when we ask our 21 month old daughter to give baby a kiss and she kisses my wife on the belly... And also she will put her hands on the belly and her face when she feels it kick is priceless... Then her trademark words are said "whoooooo's that?"

Wife is pretty over it... She is showing alot more this pregnance, to the point we reckon the docs got our due date wrong (which obviously they wouldn't have)
looking forward to meeting our new family member....

I can relate to just about all of that! My daughter is 2 tho and she kisses and cuddles the belly one day shes calling it her brother the next day its her sister one day it was even a puppy! She says the cutest things.

And yeah my Mrs is over it as well she is now 31 weeks and the size of a house heaps bigger than the 1st one. This time shes had a pretty tough run with sickness and the like not really fair 64 seconds of fun for 9 months of pain!

Cant wait for the end of June (24th) for the new arrival

My wife is into her 32nd week and has her baby shower on sunday.

She isnt doing too bad at the moment- but contrary to the aformentioned ladies, being her first pregnancy, we both dont have anything to compare it to, so size, feeling etc is just another thing to put up with. I was actually comparing her (discreetly of course) to other ladies in our pre-natal classes, and I must admit she is showing no where near as much as some of the other mums to be!

We finished up the nursery a couple of weeks back so its all systems go now, just playing the waiting game!

That's good to hear, mate. We'll have to catch up for a brew next Saturday.

Pre-Natal classes wow how bad are they? We had a lady say her Horse was jealous of the baby and wouldn't talk to her anymore that was it for me when I heard that......

My Mrs lasted 2 more sessions with out me before she too seen the light. Each to there own I guess, As you said being your first I guess its an experience you need to go through.

How did you find the sessions?

i personally found them informative and highly amusing... Had one bloke say you wouldn't need a spinal block for a ceaser cause it would have a high chance of becoming paralysed (which is possible butvery very very very rare) and then went on to say that general anesthetics would be just fine and when the mid wife said he was wrong, he argued the point... he looked off his guts every time he came in...
not to mention the scared look on the soon to be teenage mum who for the first visit came with a friend and looked just as shocked. never saw them again...
