Motley Crue call it a day

Postby Booney » Wed Jan 29, 2014 8:48 am

For all those hair metal 1980-1990's fans out there one of the biggest names of the era, Motley Crue, have decided to call it a day.

In a strange twist and one industry insiders say could be a first, the band have all agreed to leave the Motley Crue name to R.I.P. Signing a "Cessation to Tour" contract.

All of the band members have signed contracts to never tour under the Motley Crue name without the other three band members.

Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Vince Neil and Tommy Lee do a US / Canada Tour to finish their time together.

As documented in the Cessation Of Touring Agreement the band signed at the press conference today, the band will not tour after this Final Tour. Band Attorney, Doug Mark of Mark Music & Media Law, explains “Other bands have split up over rancor or the inability of people to get along, but this is a mutual among all four original members and peaceful decision to move on to other endeavors and to confirm it with a binding agreement.” Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, and Mick Mars will go their separate ways after the lengthy 2-year touring cycle. Tommy Lee (drums) explains “Everything must come to an end!! We always had a vision of going out with a big ******* bang and not playing county fairs and clubs with 1 or 2 original band members! Our job here is done!!!” Of the band’s tumultuous history, Mick Mars (guitar) adds “(It has been) more drama than ‘General Hospital’ it keeps ‘em watchin’ and they keep comin’ back.” Vocalist, Vince Neil says of the Finality of the tour – “I’ll miss playing with the guys but I won’t quit playing rock and roll!! I feel there are a lot of great opportunities and exciting projects after Motley.”
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

Only thing I liked of theirs was the book - what a hoot!
"A no vote from any club means there is some sort of risk involved in our entry into the competition not working," Steven Trigg.

Not really ....I did not mind the track hell in high heels from around 1998 but anything after that was average .

Saw them in concert a few years back at entertainment centre and still say it was one of the worst gigs I have ever seen. :(
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!
