yeah, your forward line would be the worst in the AFL without riewoldt.

just one of those things that happens, all of your players seem to be getting old at the same time. youth wasnt blooded in the last few years because a premiership was on offer, but now it will come back to bite.

thats why i am constantly amazed by geelong. they seem to have blooded a ton of youngsters whilst still remaining a top 4 side. incredible really.

Ahh
1966
The year of DeciMAL currency
And the Premiership year of the Saints

All us Saint fans have that memory
The memory of Barry Breen kicking arguably the most famous point in VFL history

Winning our 2nd flag would diminish and devalue that magnificent occasion of 66 !

Two changes from last week with 2 of our most experianced players back in, Hayes and Montagna replaced the inj Webster(Groin) and 1st rd selection Billings.

Will be a big challenge for us this with the giants looking to win 2 in a row for the first time ever amd they should be confident after knocking us off by 70 odd points last month. Im hoping Maister and Stanley can help Riewoldt in the forward lines because we need more targets, and hoping our young defence can contain Patton and Cameron. I think we can match them in the midfield and hoping Hickey can get on top of Mumford.

B: Dempster, Deleany, Geary
HB: Wright, Gwilt, Roberton
C: Montagna, Hayes, Ray
HF: Jones, Riewoldt, Saunders
F: Curren, Maister, Gilbert
R: Hickey, Armitage, Dunstan
I: Templeton, Savage, Stanley, Newnes

Big job for Hickey to take on Mumford. Needs to match Mumford so that you can keep the young GWS mids in check.

Not sure who you support TEB, but it appears you were wrong about St Kilda

most people are/were. Good on them. Hate them with a passion, but still you have to admire them. Here is Malthouse saying he doesn't have the cattle at Carlton, yet St's are achieving 'this' with less talent at their disposal.

Shows you how far Carlton has fallen when the fans start hating on the Saints.
