Recorded the kangas match last night and watch it when I got home from the bay oval.
I reckon if they can improve their consistency they'll be a premiership threat behind hawks cats and power. Top 4 is theirs for the taking this year.
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

At there best yes, but the difference between the best and the worst is the length of south road.

Like the Swans a fortnight ago, we hadn't beaten Freo in Perth for seven years either.
Twenty six pts down in the first qtr and it looked like a long night ahead. We then started getting our hands on the ball and applying pressure to the dockers. The tide turned and midway through the third we gained ascendancy and looked far the more likely. Boomer, Dal Santo & Grima were the standouts for mine.
When we stick to the plan and do the simple things (choose first option, keep running, tackle in packs) the rest follows and we look like a genuine contender.
Wells, Thompson & Swallow coming back into the side will also be huge.

Not many teams will beat both Sydney and Fremantle away this year, let alone within 3 weeks of each other.
The positives far outweigh the negatives, with a favourable draw ahead of them.
Mental toughness/consistency is their biggest test because ability wise they can match it with anyone.
Get over the suns this week and we will be 5-2 at the bye - that gives you plenty to build on.

these are the sorts of wins North need to start getting to be considered a genuine threat for top 4, and wins over port and freo is pretty impressive.

they will certainly be around the mark if they can cut out their worst performances, like against collingwood

They weren't booing him early, think he had a bit of an altercation with Lindsay Thomas and may have given him a cheap one. The boos started after that

They were booing him early in the 2nd term it did seem to get worse. I didn't see the Thomas altercation although I wish I did, I'd love to see that overrated spud get a smack in the mouth.

Thomas started it as usual, laid a good tackle on Ablett but gave him one to go on with, GAJ didnt appreciate it and gave him one back. Thomas also dropped his knees into an opponent lying on the ground later on in the game, bet he doesnt get cited though

Big Goldy signs on until the end of 2016 - fantastic.

Heading down the highway to Kardinia Pk tomorrow night where we haven't won in 7 years - just like not winning in Syd for 7 years until this season, just like not winning in Freo for 7 years until this season. Reckon we can get the points.
Hoping this is the first step towards a run at the top 4.
