Can anyone tell me why it matters that the names are out in the open?

My question is.....who leaked the names?

Was it from ASADA or Afl.

Both have zero credibility!

Unfortunately that isnt going to happen. Dont think the guy they hired to oversee the investigation is even looking at it until April and it will take a few weeks before recommendations are made.
Still think it will atleast mide of season before any outcome

I thought he would be finished by April. Obviously there are charges to be laid against Essendon otherwise they would of just said case closed.

Well one of the reason why it's taken so long is because Essendon covered up what the players where given, which I wouldn't be surprised if that was worthy of a sanction in itself. Also add to the fact that NRL are also going through the same thing. They would also want to make sure they have got everything correct for legal reasons.

No doubt essendon are making this as hard as possible and would be the reason it is taking so long.

They know if ASADA got a hold of all the correct info there would be many people facing lengthy bans.

Yes. That's why I have no problem with players being named. If essendon were open and honest about all this they might have got some sympathy. The tact they have taken since being caught out just shows how calculated their cheating was.

It's actually funny how their so upset about their names being released in a paper, but had o problem when their names where called for a injection.

Not sure how they can be mad when Jobe Watson openly admitted on national tv that he took a band substance

If, if we assume Essendon were as innocent and uneducated about the substances they claim they are then the penalty should have or should be ten fold of what it was.
