Michael the run maxchine Klinger is one of the very best opening batsman in SS cricket this millenium
Today he batted at 3 to make way for Phillip Hughes to open and to allow Sam Raphael to continue to open
That's wrong

You should open with Hughes and Klinger and bat Raphael at 3
If Raphael is not considered batting at 3 , then bat Travis Head at 3

This is not anything against Sam Raphael , its about MAXimising your teams best chances, based on past form
