What didn't you like about it?

Being a metal and punk festival for the main part, they should have avoided a barrage of ballads early on, then got people offside by Patton having a go at the crowd for just standing there.

You've got a point, but then again, Faith No More have never been a band to do things conventionally.

I still piss myself laughing at the banter between Patton, Roddy Bottum and the crowd.

Hearing 'Land of Sunshine' as the first 'proper' song in the set was awesome too.

Hopefully they'll have a new album in tow if they come down here.

Being a metal/punk crowd is the exact reason why they would've done it, I've always loved their humour.

At this point in time I would just like to officially register how much I like this live clip of Zombie Eaters from their show in Hyde Park a few weeks ago.

I know this will be unpopular, but The Real Thing is my second least favourite Faith No More album, after We Care a Lot.

However, that is a ripper version of Zombie Eaters!

Each to their own, a lot of FNM fans love Angel Dust but of the four Patton albums I rate it comfortably their worst ;)

Exactly. To me, Angel Dust is comfortably their masterpiece, followed by:

- King For a Day... Fool For a Lifetime,
- Introduce Yourself (I have a HUGE soft spot for Chuck Mosley),
- Album of the Year (there's a few ripping songs, but they played it reasonably safe),
- The Real Thing (still quite a solid album), and
- We Care a Lot (the potential was there, but the production was a big mess).

I would swap Album of the Year and Introduce Yourself and that would be my order...

That sits well with me too.

I am one of the rare few that valued Chuck's time in the band.
