BOMBER BOMBER BOMBER BOMBER BOMBER BOMBER BOMBER BOMBER BOMBER BOMBER BOMBER BOMBER BOMBER.

He looks spent before it's even started

He'll be alright mate. Just getting the team nice and ready to fire. So hopefully we can put the s**t behind us tonight and give Dustin Fletcher a win for playing the most games at 1 club. Superstar Fletcher is. A dinosaur but a star.

I reckon Hird has designed this so that he does get sacked so that he gets this year and the next 2 years pay. He would've been stupid to resign and give up all that cash.
I think people are giving Hird and his wife too much credit for being smart,

I know Simon Goodwin has been with the Bombers for a while now. If it came down to Bomber only wanting to coach this year. Would it be a risk to give the job to Goodwin who has only been a assistant coach and not yet proven? Especially with a club as big as Essendon?

Don't you mean people aren't giving them enough credit, they are shrewd, having the phone on speaker & she was taking notes, she's a lawyer right? I agree, the Hirds have designed this so he will have to get sacked & be paid out.

Totally agree.
Orchestrated for sure.
Hird and the missus have decided they want out of AFL.
Must of been a future pay deal struck for when he returned.
Ffs sake Hirdy you are now a total disgrace if you weren't before.

Seeing they had a game last night, I don't think sacking someone who isn't even in the country was top of the priority list

Don't worry. The Hirds love money. They know what they are doing.

I agree with Ted. Goodwin doesn't have the brains to be a coach.
That's the impression I got from spending a few hours with him once. Nice enough guy though.

Hird will never coach again. Let's let go the god father to Geelongs success and put back in place the idiot who has destroyed the credibility of one of Australias succesful sporting organisations and continues to be bigger than the club.

Piss off Hird.

Apologies I missed the most important part.

And potentially ****** around with the health and well being of young men under his guidance with people who he recomended to the club of whom employed them.

The credibility must go to these blokes and the clubs communication officers because I would morally not be able to suit up again for this mob if it was me.
